The South Coast Symposium began its annual event last October, 2006 in a collaberative effort between the Oriental Healing Arts Institute of Long Beach, California and South Baylo University of Anaheim, California.  Our mission is to provide excellent professional level education symposiums for Licensed Acupuncturists and other professional health care providers interested in the field of Oriental Medicine.  Our goal is to provide a forum for select educators in various fields of healthcare to present educational materials focused on a fixed topic prevelant to each symposium's chosen theme, offer a panel for integrative collaberation among speakers and guests, and a venue for vendors and practitioners.

The Oriental Healing Arts Institute (OHAI) is a non-profit organization that provides education and information about Oriental medicine.

South Baylo University is one the largest schools of Oriental Medicine in the United States providing excellent education at two campuses located in Southern California.
